🎁 Refund & Return Policy (UK)
Overview
At Festive Treats, we aim to make your celebrations joyful and worry-free. If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to help. This policy applies to all orders placed through our UK website.
1. Your Right to Cancel
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your online order within 14 days of receiving it, for any reason and without justification.
To exercise this right:

You must notify us within 14 days of receiving your goods.

You then have an additional 14 days to return the items to us.
We will issue a refund (including standard delivery charges) within 14 days of receiving your returned items or proof of posting. Postage is cost is not included.
2. Eligibility for Returns
To qualify for a refund or exchange:

The item must be unused, in its original packaging, and in the same condition you received it.

You must include proof of purchase (such as your order confirmation or receipt).
3. Items That Cannot Be Returned
The following items are exempt from return or refund:

Personalised or custom-made items

Perishable goods (e.g., food hampers, chocolates, baked goods)

Opened decorative items (e.g., confetti, garlands, lighting) for hygiene and safety reasons

Sale or clearance items (unless faulty)
4. Faulty or Damaged Items
If your order arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at sales@festivetreats.co.uk
We’ll arrange a replacement or full refund. You are legally entitled to a refund or repair under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 if goods are faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose.
5. Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected:

We’ll notify you of approval or rejection via email.

If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Refunds cover the cost of goods and standard shipping (if applicable).
Upgraded delivery services are non-refundable.
